Occupational Therapy

Who can benefit from therapy services (OT): birth injuries or birth defects, sensory processing disorders, traumatic injuries (brain or spinal cord), learning problems, autism/pervasive developmental disorders, behavioral problems, developmental delays, post-surgical hand conditions, spina bifida, cerebral palsy and other chronic illnesses.

Focused on helping children and adolescence to develop specific skills that will allow them to engage in activities of everyday life. We focus on improving skills such as fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory integration, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living skills. Our occupational therapist works with children who experience a wide variety of challenges.

They assist individuals to improve their level of independence in Activities of Daily Living such as feeding, grooming, cooking, toileting, dressing, and bathing skills. OT’s can address wide range of developmental challenges in the home or out in the community. Whether it be motor skills, sensory regulation or daily activities; Our therapists provide client centered services designed to support growth and development.
